The Day before KKN

Tomorrow, on Thursday, July 2nd, I’m going to go to Ngawi, a city in East Java. I, with my 8 friends, will stay for about two weeks then we have day off and stay there again.

What are we going to do? We will do community service, but not because we commit crime. It’s a program in our university called Kuliah Kerja Nyata, abbreviated as KKN. Literally, it means “Real Work Lecture”. Well, literal translation is annoying. In Ngawi, we will teach children how brush their teeth properly, raise awareness of bullying and how to prevent it, etc.

I won’t bring my laptop with me since it’s quite big. It also means that I may not write in this blog for quite a long time. I hope I can write a lot about our experience in Ngawi right after I come back.
