Confidence in Blogging (My Confession)

I started this blog in 2013. When I made it, I told three friends who used to blog actively in high school. However, they were no longer high school students so they didn’t blog a lot. I also told a Polish friend who then became my only one regular reader. Hey you, thanks for reading my blog.

I didn’t share my blog in social media. I didn’t join blogging community either. In short, I didn’t want many people to read my posts. You may ask, “Then why do you blog if you don’t share it to people?”

The answer is I was insecure. I didn’t share my blog to people I knew in real life because I thought they would see it as a blog full of complaint while in fact I just tried to be honest. I didn’t join any blogging community online either because I wasn’t confident of my writing style and content

This time I join Blogging 101 because I want to learn more about blogging. Beside that, I think it’s better for me to show my blog up and get involved more in the community. I also show my blog to more people that I know in real life.

Anyway, I think my writing style doesn’t change much. My insecurity about it was a matter of feeling. When I feel comfortable and confident of my blog, then I won’t worry about what people think of me and my blog.

  1. I’ve been blogging for almost a decade too, but was mostly tired, lazy and uninspired to blog. I only recently joined Blogging 101 and found out that there are a lot of nice and supportive people over there. 🙂 So don’t be shy. Be truthful and be yourself! See you around! 😉
